What is Latinas in the South Coast
Latinas in the South Coast (Lit SoCo) is a dedicated and supportive community focused on fostering the growth and success of Latina career women, entrepreneurs, and individuals, providing a dynamic platform for connection, collaboration, and empowerment.
Our goal is to unite women from diverse backgrounds to support, inspire, and economically empower one another. Through networking events, educational resources, and mentorship opportunities, we aim to uplift and celebrate Latinas in their personal and professional growth, empowering them to become the best version of themselves. Together, we strive to create positive change and build a brighter future for all.
Our Vision
Latinas in the South Coast envisions a safe space and a community for Latinas to feel empowered to thrive and lead their desired version of themselves. Latinas in the South Coast creates a sense of belonging and acceptance and allows them to foster both professional and personal relationships.
Our Core Values
Kindness - Kindness Matters. We treat everyone we interact with kindness and respect.
Change Makers - We are focused on creating a positive change not only with Hispanic women in the community but also within the Latinx community as a whole.
Collaboration- We embody community over competition and know that this is an intentional practice of raising up others in our community and lending a helping hand whenever we can.
Inclusion - Although this is a group targeting Hispanic women, we are not wanting to exclude others. The goal is to empower the Hispanic community and assist in bridging gaps.
Understanding- Everyone’s journey is different and we value and understand that not everyone communicates or processes information the same. We seek to understand and learn from each other.
